Just wondering does anyone have any good insight on Rosetta Stone. I picked it up so I can learn a little spanish. I was really interested in learning Amharic the Ethiopian language but couldn't find it. So far I started a few lessons and it's fun...I learned a little bit so far...

More Then I Can Count
We have a contact, for the school I work in and it is amazing. I am learning German and having fun doing it. I have learned more in German by doing Rosetta Stone then I did trying to pick up Spanish by listening to my aunt related by marriage having conversations with her family.

If it's good enough for the U.S government to train their military personnel...I don't see why it wouldn't be good for everybody else.

I have seen a few people use it before it seems interesting at the very least.

I cannot speak fluently, but I can understand, read, and write with ease. I am currently in a Spanish 3 honors class, being bumped up from a Spanish 1 academic class last year in school, if that proves anything ;) lol.

I have gone through all of the lessons a couple times. There also CDs with different levels.

It's going good. I've used RS for German before so it's an excellent program. You just have to stick with it and put in the time to learn it.
