How to view away message with ichat.

I'm trying to view an away message in ichat. How can I read someone's away message that is a paragraph long.

send them a message, the reply will be there away message, or maybe if you leave your mouse over their name, it may show in a little bubble window.

Hovering the cursor over their name seems to work, but you'll need to keep moving your cursor on and off their name, because the message will fade after a couple of seconds.

Ctrl Click -> Get Info does work, you just have to select their SCREENNAME from the dropdown box.

is there anyway for them to get an autoreply with my away message when I'm away? I chat with lots of AIM users, and they have to right click to see my away message, it doesn't "auto respond" like regular AIM (which I will never use again on Mac or PC, it crashes hourly on the PC, and abt. every 60 secs. on my mac).

I forget the exact place but I know it is in iChat's preferences
