hello everyone.
i would like to share my problem and ask for some help.
i installed windows 7 using bootcamp v 3.0, when they were not officially supported by apple, on my new imac 27 and i experienced the common no sound problems ,no isight camera and problems with the magic mouse.
so i waited for bootcamp 3.1
now that it has been released i cant find a way to fix the problems without having to uninstall and reinstall windows 7

any help would be appreciated.

thanks you in advance...

Have you installed BC 3.1 in windows?

And did you download the correct version - 32 or 64 bit to match your version of windows?

Don't know what to tell you as I didn't have the issue with 3.0.

you might try re-installing the OS-X drivers after upgrading to 3.1

I am having some issues as well, although different. I am running Win 7 64 bit on the system in my profile and have been since Win 7 was released. Last night I downloaded and tried to install BC 3.1 64 bit edition from within Win 7 but it tells me that I need to install BC 3.0 first? (the download is an executable file so I assume this is the correct way of going about it)

Now it has been a few months since I configured this system, but I thought I did install 3.0. How could I be running Win 7 and OS x 10.6 on the same system without doing so?

What am I doing wrong?

i still havent fixed my problem with isight, magic mouse and most importantly with sound( i have no sound...), although i have installed boot camp v 3.1( i had bootcamp v 3.0 when 3.1 was released so i ran the bootcamp v3.1.exe file).

i also tried downloading realtek drivers (2.40 if not mistaken) but when i install them and check the drivers at device management it still says that the manifacturer is microsoft...

this is what it used to say for the drivers of my ati 4850(that it was microsoft's) but when i installed the drivers from ati it changed...(i did so because i had some problems with my screen)

sorry for writing so much but i cant enjoy sound in windows 7 which by the way are better than i thought...

If you install iTunes 9, you will get the Apple Software Update tool installed as well. Run that program to find new updates for Bootcamp.
