Okay, for those of you who've seen my thread about s-video, purchasing the apple DVI to Video adapter worked like a charm. Now I'm trying to do the other way around, that is to say, capture tv on my mac. I have an av to dv converter (does dv to av aswell) and as far as canopus is concerned they say it should work but they don't know of any software that will work with it.
I'm hoping that someone here has some experience with this and can lend a hand - This is the reply from canopus support in regards to software to capture tv on the mac with their converter:
"That's correct, it is a capture device. Technically speaking it has the capability to stream. What you don't have is a software on the Mac platform that will allow you to view this stream without recording."
Cheers!
