ANyone have Mac on Linux?

How well does it run? Ive been researching and learning about building my own PC, my goal is Partition a very large HDD and Run (oh god I hate saying the word.......) Windows (*COUGH* *COUGH* excuse me) on one Partition and linux on the other........

My thought is If I had Mac on Linux I could have the best of all 3 worlds, PC, MAC, And linux on one machine.

It just sounds like fun to me, any thoughts guys?

Mac on Linux afaik only works on a PPC processor. I believe it runs pretty good since it doesn't need to emulate the CPU.

PearPC is a joke. It's not even worth running anything with that. If you want a Mac cheaply check out the Mac minis or look for a used one.

That was what I was interested in hearing, someone who knew SOMETHING about pearPC.....

I do have a Mini, IM just thinking through typing about a PC build im thinking of attempting, it will run linux on one partition, and Windows on another, I just wanted to explore the possibilities of it running OSX on one of those two platforms, I suppose since I already own a Mac, it doesnt matter much, Im just naturally curious.

Thanks for all the replies guys!!!!

general idea is if you cant find someone that has used the emulator and the origonal machine it is good to asume that the emulator is crap
