I have My dell running head less and my G5 which is also hooked up to a display, mouse, and keyboard.

Bacsicly it means the computer is running with out a screen, keyboard, and mouse you control the computer over the network with something like VNC

Yep old windoze box running as an MP3 / file server using. Access via VNC. Works well.

Yes, I have multiple Linux (Slackware) boxes that I run headless. All my Macs have a monitor.

As Linux is not an option I did not vote though.

My FreeBSD gateway (not the brand, the device) runs headless everything else uses the kvm

Not at the moment... but I had a Windows XP Pro box and a BSD Box connected to my KVM switch. I still use the KVM switch to "dock" my PowerBook (and whatever computer I need to repair or acquire). :)

I don't have any of my computers full headless. However since I have to switch around my usb keyboard and mouse between my pc and mac I frequently vnc to either so i dont have to switch them around.

I willl vote OS X mac but really depending on the situation it could be my pc or my mini running headless.
