I've got a new 27" iMac running OS 10.6.2. I'm also running Windows XP via Parallels Desktop. I work in them back and forth.
CDs and DVDs always default to wanting to open in Windows instead of mounting on my Mac's Snow Leopard desktop. Even when I say NO to Windows mounting them, they still do not show up on Snow Leopard's desktop.
It does this with all CDs whether they are Mac or PC formatted, store bought or ones that I burned. The one I'm trying to open now is a music CD.
Is there a way to make them mount in OS X instead of Windows without quitting out of Windows or Parallels? If all else fails, I'll just quit Windows, but I used it a lot and would like to keep it open.
Thanks much!
Kristy
