it happens to all of us. sometimes, all there is to use is windows. i know many like me are stuck on it at work. i recently started using Mozilla Firebird and i really like it. its as close as you can get to Safari in windows. some features include:

pop up blocking
tabbed browsing
google search in toolbar
bookmark bar
commands similar to mac (close window = ctrl+w , new tab = ctrl+t , etc)
you can get themes to even make it look kinda like safari

heres a screenshot of it in action

I use Firebird as well, at work. It is really fast, and renders better than Opera. Nice post! :)

If ya wanna go for a non-Outlook e-mail client, there's Thunderbird, too. Both Fire/Thunderbird are part of the Mozilla project. Firebird is actually Mozilla stripped down to being just the web browser, and Thunderbird is just the e-mail client. A number of readers probably knew that, though :)

It may not be Mail, but at least it's not LookOut!
