I am so happy I switched to a macbook pro over a Windows Laptop, if it wasn't for my line of work I never would never have discovered these wonderful machines.

I look forward to getting to know all of you in the future.

I've had it since september but after finally getting Pro Tools on it I realize how much better it is then Window's Pro Tools.

I still will use windows as most of the programs I will be needing to use are Window's based but my MacBook is still my number one choice.

I think you'll find as you become more familiar with your new Mac, that there are alternative OS X programs for those that you may have gotten used to using in Windows.

I've tried to switch all of our computing tasks and applications over to the Mac, and with very few exceptions have been able to continue with our work without interruption. We still use Windows machines but the Mac is primary.

Have fun.

Regards.

If I was trying to decide what was the "Best decision I ever made"...it certainly wouldn't be what computer I decided to purchase...it would be more like:

- if I married the right person
- made good decisions concerning my health
- choose an interesting & rewarding career
- etc.

Just my humble opinion ;),

1. Marriage to the right person or not always eventually becomes miserable.
2. We all get sick and die anyway after only a few decades.
3. All work ends up being miserable, day after day, monotony.

Might as well enjoy a Mac! hahaha
