Peoples i have a mother of a 5.1 audio speakers that i once used on my now defunked windows machine..... The image below is for look see purpose but this system has a VGA type plug that went straight into the PC...And the other end was hard wired into the power/come Bass speaker..

I have not a ounce of common sense to even know where to start looking or even the terminology for it but i want a adapter of some sort to go from said VGA type plug into my MB audio jack ...
Any ideas on where to start looking for such a thing or the WORDS for me to google it

Appreciated

Cheers

Is that the actual plug? Have never seen a 15 pin carry audio.

Sure it's not a 9 pin serial port, like this?

Never seen audio and/or speakers connected via 15 pin vga like that.

I'd start off trying to determine the manufacturers name and start your search from there.

Yeah my subwoofer has one of them too! but it's only for power! Is there not another cable coming out of the speaker to a controller of some sort?!

Ahhhh ok This is starting to make sense now ...
Im not sure about the other cable, as im getting all this info through msg's from the Ex and im not there to see it.
By the sounds of it there should be a PC green audio cord or a phone jack type cord as well, for the actual sound ??
Will be cpl more days before i get to see it physically now so she will just have to wait ....
Thanks G3XOI
