maybe it's just me...

I just assumed that since www.macosx.com and www.macusers.org use the sam icons and same layout roughly in their forums, and that all 3 used almost the same signup procedures, I assumed they might be run by the folks.

I didn't want to post my questions in 3 different places and it be pointless.

That's all. Didn't mean to offend.

Yeah, that similarity is because they all use Vbulliten as their core software/template. You'll find that a majority of forums out there, both Mac and otherwise, will use vbulliten and therefore will have a similar sign-up process.

even forums using IPB software will have somewhat similar sign up process, based on a template of some sort, though images are up to the admins, so that can easily be changed.
