Garage Band Issue

Hey all, I recently added a jam pack to my garage band, and now when I open it up, under "new project" there's no longer the presets, like "Piano" or "Voice" or "Podcast," it's just blank. And I can't even add a guitar-track with the effects anymore, not sure what I did. Anyone have suggestions? SHould I just reload garageband, hopefully that won't get rid of what I made already right?
