mac browsers & spyware

Hi

i've been using firefox & camino, but when i lately tried safari for some tough browsing i noticed its much faster than the rest, however im worried of spyware. Is safari prone o spyware?? cause never had problems wih firefox even on a pc

Safari is just as free from Spyware as Firefox and in fact since the update to 1.3 and now 2.0 in Tiger, Those PopBacks are not coming up for me, but are on my PC with the latest Firefox. I went to the exact same URL's on both and no popbacks on the Mac. So the answer is, yes, Use Safari. You will have no problems with it and Spyware. At the present time I know of no Spyware for OSX anyway.

Nope. You shouldn't have any problems whatsoever.

No Mac OS X based system has ever succumbed to spyware. It doesn't matter what browser you use.
