Bootcamp Partitition Error

Sorry if I'm troubling the community but the Boot Camp partitioner apparently is giving me a failure message. I'm asking for help if another Mac user's encountered the same error.
Other questions:
1. Is there a different way to partition the disk for Boot Camp?
2. Is there a reason for the error apart from reinstalling the entire disk?
3. Can I boot using Boot Camp on a USB hard drive?

Could you please provide the error message before we start providing assistance on exactly what to do?

Sounds like a filesystem issue. Have you run the First Aid tasks in Disk Utility?
