So I have a laptop pc with Windows xp installed on it and the product key on the bottom. My question is this: Can I install Windows xp onto my iMac in Bootcamp using this product key or do i really need to go buy a new copy of Windows? I'd prefer to just use xp anyway and it is nearly impossible to find now. i apologize if this has been answered before, I am new to the world of mac and this forum. Thanks in advance!!!

You will need to purchase another copy of XP. The copy that you have pre-installed on your notebook is an OEM branded version that can not be moved to a different machine.
NewEgg has a copy for $89.99 (OEM system builders full XP Home SP3).
Copies of XP are plentiful as it's still the most popular MS operating system.
