Saving pics to i-photo

When I download pics, it saves them to separate files, I drag them all into one after I'm done.
On my pc, i could right click and hi-light all of them and download them to my pics, is there a trick to doing it on a Mac?

Also, for example, if I download 10 pics from an email, it saves each pic as a file??? thanks

Well specifically for the download from email, goto email preferences>advance tab and in the download dropdown window goto other and then select a folder you want them to download in.

This will only download ALL downloads into that folder so if and when you know they are photos your downloading you will have to change it as needed.
