I'm in New York right now on Long Island and we are having a crazy blizzard over here!!!! we have legitly 2feet of snowfall already!!!! :) who else on the East Coast is in this crazy blizzard!?! share pics if possible!

I lived 22 miserable years in the Midwest and have seen all the rain and snow I need to last me the rest of my life. Good-freakin-riddance to that stuff! :Angry-Tongue:

It's times like this I miss southern California. I'm here in NJ on vacation and I left behind 77 degree weather for the freezing cold of a blizzard. Can't wait to go back.

I use to go to school wearing shorts and sandals in the snow. That's what I get moving from soCal to the East Coast. I enjoyed every minute of it though. Except for plowing the drive way. I don't miss that. :p

About eight inches of snow here. Finally got to put my new snowblower to the test. I've had it for more than two years now and we haven't had much more than a dusting until now.

We have had a foot of snow on the ground and sub zero wind chills for almost two weeks ! Try working on a 28 ft ladder in it. Oh well it's the price we pay to live in gods country ! ( with the goats )

hey man, im on LI too, i measured it at one of the level points on my drive way, 18'' of snow! im glad my dad bought a snow blower a few years ago

Situation in Belgium is such that the national airport is closed, public transport has come to a complete standstill and the suggestion is for everyone to stay off the roads.

We have 30 cm of snow, .... we are not used to this kind of weather.
Forecast is more of the same for the next 3 days .... that means not driving to the office and work from home.

Meh.. I remember when we had about 3-4 feet of snow back in the early 90's in NY. That.. was FUN! This ain't no blizzard.. ye panzies ! Regardless, go get your ski's or snow boards out and have a blast ! Or get the sleds people ! You guys must have your own versions of "suicide hill", no ?

Growing up, my Suicide Hill was right off the Grand Central heading to Queens Blvd on Union Turnpike. Steep hill where all the kids went sliding down regardless of whether or not they had a sled. Garbage bags worked equally as well.

Hills ? We don't have hills till the plows get done ! What we do have is bumper sledding ! For those none flattlanders that's where you tie a rope to a truck bumper and hang on.

I went for a 25mi bike ride in 60º weather.. really would rather have to haul out a fit tire bike and go for a snow ride. I need to leave the desert :D

Oh it is ! But alas it is a young mans sport ! At 44 it would probably mean a week off work !
