Is you can get OS 9 on your computer through OS 10.3 classic or enulating it whrough something like sheepshaver/classic-on-intel you should be ok. And there is a lot of older games for OS 9 out there

And for the more modern games look into the casual games companies like popcap, bigfish etc for games your kids might like and will run on your system. Why I say look for old/casual games cause many of the new modern long games might not work for your machine.

i guess i should add im no geek or nerd, i know very little about computers, upgrading the operating system is something i dont know how to do, and emulating??? no idea :(

this thing can only connect to the www with a phone jack as far as i can tell?

and we dont have dial up :)

doesnt seem worth it to buy dial up to upgrade the OS

unless i can download the os into my macbook, burn a disk and do it that way?
