Windows XP on MCP 13 Inch Sound Scratchy?

Your Mac's Specs
MacBook Pro 13" Mid 2012 2.9 GHz i7 8 GB RAM, MacBook Pro Mid 2009 13" 2.26 GHz 4 GB RAM
For some reason when I am running windows through VMware Fusion the sound is scratchy only on my logitech USB headset. When it's coming through the speakers it's fine. Any suggestions? Just to let you all know the headset works fine on the Mac OS.
