Hey everyone. I am colorizing a movie using Akvis coloriage. What I do is load a video file into virtual dub on my PC and rip all the frames individually as BMP files and then copy them onto my mac to load in Akvis.

Is there an easier way to do this on a mac?
At least a way to rip BMPS from a movie file without using a PC?

If you have QT Pro you can open the original movie file, then Export it as an Image Sequence, which is what you're looking to do. Then once done with all the images, open it in QT Pro using "Open Image Sequence", then Export into the video format you want. You may also want to look into Studio Artist, just for fun.
