Dock Dilemma!

Hi folks. Quick problem here. Went to drag mutilple files (hundreds) into the trash, are now in the dock, rendering my computer into a paperweight. Please help me, I'm going crazy!!!

Sounds like you missed the trash by a mm or two. I guess you can drag them all off the dock. May take a while but that seems to be the obvious fix.

Or there's always a hammer...

I have found that it fixes most PCs good and proper !!

Hmmm that is a funny problem. I've never heard of it happening, but I can see myself doing it. I guess you just need to drag them all off.

all you have to do is go into your user preferences and trash the dock.plist log out and back in and it should be reset to the original dock items
so thats the easy way
or spend an hour removing them by hand
