back button on safari is GONE!

I accidentally somehow cause the back button to close and only have the refresh option button on the top left corner of Safari............. :dummy: Could someone please tell me how to get it back? I tried Safari preferences but I can not find what I need

Oh sorry I was also told there is an option to have my spelling checked as I type this, could you tell me that is also?

In Safari, up on the menubar you'll see File Edit View, click on View and then on Customize Toolbar (I think its under view, either that or tools) and a dropdown panel will come down and you can just drag and drop what buttons you want/don't want on the bar. Pay special notice to the new Print button, cool.

yea, as far as spell checking, it should be where it was before, unless you're in panther still, as I am, click edit>spelling>check spelling as I type. thats here it is in panther.

While we are at it When I try to set my home page Apple stays grayed out so I can not change it any suggestions on that?

what do you mean by Apple stays grayed out? have you tried going to the page you want as your hp, click safari>preferences>general tab> click set to current page?

Son of a gun I meant home page stays grayed out but I relaunched finder and Safari and it's all set now. Thanks again guys. Don't mind me... I'll figure this all out ,eventually ;)
