transfer photos from mac to nikon d60

i really cant seem to be getting this. im pretty sure my camera should pop up on the desktop as an external drive under d60, but its not working. im trying to move some photos from my computer back to my memory card because i dont have a flash drive at the moment. i go to iphoto and it reads my camera under device as d60, but the camera doesnt pop up as an external drive. i heard it comes under "volumes" or something but i have no clue what that is. im a relatively new mac user so please bear with me. thanks.


oh im using a macbook polycarb white unibody with snowleopard and a nikon d60. and i do not have a memory card reader.
