Downgrade iTunes?

I upgraded to iTunes 9. However, my AirTunes connection skips constantly, which it never did prior to my upgrade.

Is there a way to downgrade my iTunes to the previous version when there was nothing wrong?

Have read several places that resetting your Airport Express back to defaults and then setting it back up has cured the skipping issue.
