I just recently bought my first imac, which is great so far. My question is how to get my HP usb printer to work with my Windows laptop and my wifes netbook. I was able to print when I had my old Dell desktop.

When I hooked up the printer, the Mac automatically installed a driver and it works when I print from the Mac. I can't print from the Windows machine. When I look at the network on my laptop, I see the Mac and the Printer and the Mac sees my other machines. I've even added the printer to the windows machines and still am having trouble.

Hello, this should be in another section but to answer your question...

What you can do is share the printer on your Mac (since it works well) and then download and setup Bonjour on the Windows machines. I found this to be the easiest method to setup printers.

This is under a couple of assumptions:
1. The iMac will be on indefinitely.
2. All the machines are part of the same network (wired or wireless).

I found plenty of instructions on the web (there a great one within this forum).
