importing CD into iTunes

I am a beginner - I inserted a CD, and hit Import Cd and iTunes began importing the tracks.

OK where does it put them? I can't find them in Music, so how can I make a playlist to copy these tracks?

It puts them into iTunes so make sure that is running and select Library - red arrow - or any playlist that you want to/have set up - red box
