External Sound Card Issues With Last gen macbook

Hi there,

I have just joined, so hi all - I have been running my macbook for a while now and not ad any problems until friday last week. i was playing Live in a club and my sound card crashed. The sound card is a firewire M-Audio 410. I used to get the same problems with my pc so put it down to the sound card but today while I was working on Pro Tools, I got the same problem but this time with me USB MBox 2.

Anyone got any ideas what is going on??

Can anyone help??

What exactly is it doing when it crashes? Is it the hardware that crashes,the software, or both? Also, do you get any sort of error message?
