batch file name change

Hi,

Can someone help me with a quick script in UNIX to rename bunch of files. I have a folder with some files with extension and some file without extension. I only want to rename the files without extension and add some extension to their names. Does anyone have any script that will let me do that?

Hmm, you might try Automator (under the Utilities folder). Don't know how well it interacts with extensions.
