Putting lines on Photos

HI I'm having trouble placing a straight line on a photo/s I am placing these in a power point lecture that has to be burned to disc

I can drag a line via PP but it not straight which I need to show leval and the connection of one thing to annother.

as in A to B is a straight line.

Hold down Shift while drawing the line, in most applications this snaps the cursor to 45 degree increments, making it easy to draw perfectly straight and diagonal lines!

You are the Man! Thanks I'v been looking at some programs that are so complicated........I have Photo Shop but it takes layers and .....

Now I'll be back on my deadline.
