solaris on mac

i have sun solaris os as iso image, but i could not make it bootable, i burned by disk utility but when i tried to install i got a message: no bootable device detected. i don't know what have i missed!:Oops:

Suns virtual Box should be able to run Solaris, they make Solaris after all

openSolaris 2009 6 running on my MacBook Air via Virtual Box 3.0.12 works just fine.
