Opportunities for Apple in IT
October 1, 2003 - 09:03 EDT Alex Salkever of BusinessWeek writes that "Macs as Unix workstations, the rise of laptops, and the dangers of a Microsoft 'monoculture' are combining to create a real opportunity" for Apple. Salkever feels that Apple is poised to make significant inroads into the IT world if they play their cards right, which is something that over the long term could really benefit the company.

My Comments: Now hopefully they take that opportunity, and if the recent past is any indication.. I think they will!

Apple needs to keep on doing what it is doing. The IT world needs to seriously look at Apple's offerings.

Totally agree - and the OS-X platform was the best decision they ever made!
