converting mpeg from samsung t509 to os x 10.4.11

I can take mini-videos on my phone, but when I attach and send to an email for my iBook G4, I receive an error message upon opening. 'application cannot be found'. Any suggestions? Thanks.

13" Macbook Pro 2.53GHz; 4GB RAM; GeForce 9400M
Try VLC or converting the video with Handbrake or encoder (Handbrake requires VLC). Hope this works for you!
