program to view pics and .gif?

I hate preview! I was wondering what program I can dl to view .gif without having to click the next button!.
Also anyway to see ALL the pictures in a folder like a slideshow?

Very disappointing that I have to dl something to look at a simple .gif or to look at my pictures in one folder. I found a way around it (viewing) but still VERY DISAPPOINTING>
