A friend of a friend traded me his Not For Resale (NFR) copy of Windows 7. It came as the 64bit version but being a developer he also burned me a copy of the 32bit version. It was given out to him at one of the recent Microsoft events he attended.
I am wanting to build a PC with this copy. But being on a budget for the holiday season I'm thinking of installing it on my iMac here. I won't be building a PC until the first few months of the new year.
Being a NFR version, I am understanding that it is the same as a Full Retail version. So I could install it on my iMac then take it off and put it on the PC I will build myself. Can anyone here confirm my understanding of the NFR disc in this regard?
Also should I install the 32bit or 64bit version on my iMac? I'm just curious to try it out.
