So I have been pretty good about the whole "stress free",but just some security ?

I know Mac's are not prone to get a virus if you know how to navigate safely, but I was wondering I should have ANY sort of antivirus or any sort of safety feature on my computer?

I know I dont need to do 50 scans with 200 different programs, but do I really just need some common sense when it comes to dl a program and thats it???

Activate the firewall on your networks router, or the firewall within OSX
Basically there are no viruses.
There are a few Trojans that you have to install yourself
There is the free ClamX you can download if you need AV software

iAntiVirus works fine for me, but then again I wouldn't know how well it works because it's never even detected a virus of any sort.

Because there aren't any for OS X.

Turn your firewall on, put it in 'stealth mode' and follow these three rules and you have nothing to worry about:

1. Don't download pirated software.
2. If you download software, make sure it's from a trusted source.
3. If you install software and it asks for your admin password, make sure you know exactly where it came from, why you need it and that you trust the source.

Following those three rules will keep you virus free on OS X.
