Hi there,
I have a new mac and have not been able to purchase illustrator:(

I urgently need to recreate/ design a presentation using my previous files which are in PDF.

I was going to use Keynote.

Any suggestions on how I can utilize/EDIT my PDF files??

I am still on the learning curve of Mac so any suggestions, comments and help is greatly appreciated.

Any Suggestions on AFFORDABLE GRAPHIC SOFTWARE??

Thanks so much!

Depending on how much editing you need to do, Inkscape might help tide you over until you can buy Illustrator.

Good Luck,

hate to dig, as i see you want a straight up answer, but do you need and illustrator like program (aka: vector line art) or can you make do with a more photoshop/painter like program?

Edit: Download the 30 day illustrator trial off adobe's website!!

Hi there, thanks for the reply!

I need to work on layouts and be able to save for print or web..

Any suggestions to get me through till the new year?

I had already downloaded the Illustrator 30 day and it is now expired:( I know I have to buy it but it's just not an option at the moment.

I just downloaded Inkscape.. I'm not familiar with it but I'll give it a try.

Thanks so much!
