I'm new to the forum and just wanted to say "hello" to everyone. I'm a 13 year IT professional, but completely new to the Mac side and I'm already converted. I signed up primarily to have a place to find basic help with Mac troubleshooting, etc, but hopefully in the future I'm able to assist others as well. So, nice to meet you all, and thanks in advance for the help.

Welcome to the forum! You'll find that a lot of your PC knowledge transfers over to the Mac. But, you'll also find a lot less opportunity to use the troubleshooting part of it! One of the most amusing aspects of switching is to observe the stubborn manner in which those old PC ways hang on. You'll see what I mean the first time you spend a few minutes looking for the menu command to do something, then discover all you have to do is drag and drop. Duh!
