lol, yessum sir!

But I "did" get an error o_O
It said it didn't burn right or something, but anyways, I tested it out and it still worked (it errored @ the end) so no biggie :D

Does anyone know if you should Verify a DVD after you burn it? I usually let it do it, but it takes so long. I mean, this thing errored and still worked and it didn't even get to the Verification process...

No burn is ever error free. That is why they have the buffer under run stuff. Basically the computer feeds the information to drive too fast, and the drive spits it back, and then the computer tries again, etc, etc. That's always the way mine have been. So at the end, it might spit out how many times it had this buffer problem. No big deal. I haven't had a coaster, that wasn't because I screwed it up, in years. It had to be this way, because it is so easy to screw up a burn, and if it screws up once, the disc is trash ( for the most part, there are RW's out there, which allow your to erase the CD and start over ).

Hmm I havn't ever had an error in burning... I always let it verify.. so I dunno.. once its done burning.. and it goes to verification.. does it realy matter? isn't it too late? (course it would be nice to know if the disk is ok, because I delete things after I burn them)

I make sure and use verification when I am burning backups of my work data, plus I burn at a slower rate since you will have less errors if you do that.. now music etc.. I burn at a higher rate, but still usually do verification.

I don't run that buffer underun protection thing. I only seldom (well, actually 2) and they were both at the very end and they both worked so..

Anyways, I guess I'll let it do it's "Verification".
