evan trying to load from disk by pressing C wont do anything.

I have been told that it could be a logic board issue

Your Mac's Specs
2017 27" iMac, 10.5" iPad Pro, iPhone 8, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 Mini, Numerous iPods, Monterey
Post the specs for your Mac. Year\model and so forth. It could be a dead logic board but it could also be something else.

However, if you can't boot with your original install media, there's no way to do a hardware test. If your machine is still under warranty or Apple care, you might want to make an appointment with Apple to have them look at it.

Regards.

Model, model number and Mac OS X edition. Then we'll try and figure it out.

I just updated my Power Mac G4 with the new Safari update. Plus a security fix. Booted a little slower after a reboot last night and complete start up this morning. Works fine now.
