I have to get 3 kids a computer each(well I don't have too)but would like to. Are the imac minis going to come with tiger soon? Maybe I should just wait any suggestions? anyone know of any programs Apple has to help me out?

Are you looking at the iMac or the Mac mini? All apple systems will come with tiger once it is released.

I think the mini will be fine for them but I'll need monitors so it's going to add up and there are probably expenses that I'm not aware of just yet .So any suggestions to save me a few bucks is appreciated. :mac:

How old are the kids? Apple Certified eMacs are a pretty good deal. The rumors from thinksecret.com say that the eMac are going to be updated soon, so you could either buy some of the new ones or get a deal on some of the left overs.

I'll probably go with the new,I haven't even seen an emac yet but I will after this post thanks.....oh the kids are 16, 12 and 11

17" MacBook Pro
I suggets 2 17 inch imacs, one for the 16 year old and the 11 and 12 year old can share one. You will deffenetly need to upgrade the RAM in them and maybe bigger hard drives if any of them are into games or have large music collections
