Webcam for MSN

Ok so i just got a new MBP and ive searched around looking for a way to get the webcam to work for msn. Ive downloaded aMSN and Adium but Adium just sucked and didnt work and for aMSN when whenever someone sends me an invite to view their webcam it starts going through and then cancels.
Is there something im doing wrong? is there a plugin for aMSN?
any help would be appreciated

I used to use Mercury (another MSN client) to video chat with friends over MSN. I don't think Mercury supports voice (heck, I'm not sure if MSN supports voice, I use it so rarely), but it does support webcam.

thanks i tried it out and got the webcam to work but im not sure about voice. no biggie tho. just wanted to get the cam to work

Mercury is a good client, I use Adium, It's great but you have to spend some time customizing it and downloading xtras etc..

What account are you trying to use? A hotmail? Maybe you can use iChat?

I would love to see iChat have full hotmail/gmail etc intergration..

ya i use hotmail and all my friends have hotmail so i have to use msn.
im up in van city canada so not many people use yahoo messenger and stuff

there is a work-around to get MSN working in the iChat interface.

Add GTalk, MSN, and Yahoo + Mutiple Accounts to iChat · cavemonkey50.com

Although, no webcam support.
