After digging SureMac's signature image for a little while, I decided to mess around and make my own tonight. Yay for killing time in CS3.

You need to resize it. According to the Community Guidelines:

Signatures.
You can have up to four lines of text in your signature as well as an image. Be tasteful, remember people are here to read posts, not be distracted by your signature. Specifically:

* You can have up to four lines of text and one image up to 480 X 80 and 15k in size.
* Links to other communities or forums are limited to one no larger than font size 1 or an image no larger than 80 X 15.

Your signature:

Well, the 15k size barrier isn't going to be broken any time soon. Not in this crazy cool tech day and age. However, as requested... now it's small. It's also 28k, but I can't figure out how to size down a png's quality. And frankly, I think 13k isn't really that much, even for someone on dial up.

Well, the 15k size barrier isn't going to be broken any time soon. Not in this internet's day and age. However, as requested... now it's small and almost unreadable. Yay.

Great... now I can't read it... have to get my glasses:) lol

Yea, when I get up nice and close to my LED backlit screen though, (unibody ftw!) I can definitely see that it's still crisp. :)

Well DR ....... you doing a new signature got me interested in it. This is my first attempt, and with photoshop.

Will keep changing it over the coming months as i get better acquainted with PS.
Im pleased with my very 1st attempt.

cheers

Edit : as for the resizing down i saved it the highest quality in .png then opened it in preview and then 'save as'. I then saved it in .jpeg and it gave you the option on a slider to downsize it to 15k :)

You have to use the "save for web" feature in whichever Adobe product you used.

You can use the one I attached, since it is only 9.31 KB
