So I have a 450D and I'm using Aperture and realize I cant shoot live to Aperture, However, When I search for the EOS Utility I cant find it and when I do find it I cant find software for the 450D.

Can anyone help?

I've just installed Aperture myself as a hopeful Lightroom replacement. Not tried the tethering feature with my 500d but TBH with a Mac Pro its pretty useless because I can't move it anywhere! :D

You can download the Canon EOS Utility from Canon's website - click here.

Hope that helps.

You shouldn't need any additional software unless it's simply a Canon issue. I simply plug my Nikon D300 in and start tethered session and thats it. It imports the images right into aperture.

PS: However, I would love to know if possible to buy a longer USB - Camera connection cable as the 2 feet one I have is not great if moving around a lot. Ideally a 6-10ft cabe would be ideal or a wireless remote.

The Canon link posted above, do I need to download all 4 applications? There isnt just '1' package to download..

It confuses me.
