No not that question .... the other one ---- I want to upgrade my PC honey, what do you think about that ?

Normally this wouldn't be a big deal - but we're both going thru job transitions - I'm a student and $$ are a bit tight. But I just got my student loan disbursment which will cover the cost of a mini (with a student discount) and a few goodies.

Its a 50/50 crap shoot - I'll either have a mini on my desk by days end .... or this ugly-box PC.

May the schwartz be with me !!!!!

Use the argument that you'll get it cheaper now while you are a student instead of waiting till you graduate when you won't get a student discount.

Before popping the question, remember to mention how beautiful she looks as you hand her a box of chocolates.

Yes I have it !!!! Got the ok last Thursday - bought it on Friday :p

I've almost completed my first week of Mac-Mini ownership -- this is a great 'lil' machine

It worked out very well as she had just sold a bunch of stuff on ebay and was spending about $300 for a real serious mixer (she loves to cook and is really good at it !!) --- sooooo I figured while she was all gassed about getting her dream mixer I'd mention that I've been planning to upgrade my skanky 4yr old PC -- no problem blah blah blah

As usual ----- timing is everything ---- good luck on your end !!!!!!!!

sorry, I was a bit confused. You already have the mini shown in your "mac specs" so I was trying to figure out exactly what you were doing. It seemed odd...lol.

Congrats on the new system. Timing is everything... the day before I broke the news to my GF that I would be flying out to Minn. in May to spend four days diving back to Cali to help my buddy move, I purchased a pink iPod Mini for her. Not a single complaint about the trip. ;)
