Okay, so I run the internet radio station at my school. I'm auditioning for a play tomorrow (required to audition) and I might be cast in it. This will leave me with no opportunities after school to hold meetings. I'm working with students who refuse to even check their email. Suggestions? How can I communicate with them without email and without physically being there?

Video conference...or make a video tape for them to play in your absence (of course the tape is not very interactive).

Any chance of changing the meeting day, meeting time, or the meeting place?

I guess it all depends on how many weeks this meeting disruption will be in effect.

And do you not have a Vice Chairman of the committee? That is what these positions are for and will provide good training for others. Remind them no on e is indespensable and it is time to share duties around.

^ This would be the ideal thing to do. It's not face to face but at least there is some kind of interaction.
