So i have a macbook 15" and decided to install windows via bootcamp. I had windows xp for a while but hated it and some problems with the sound and microphone. I played steam on it and sound and mic worked for a while then died.

I decided to put vista 64bit in place of xp instead. i hear that bootcamp not supporting 64 bit but apple came out with new bootcamp updates that it does support 64bit so i use that.

Everything is working for me in windows except the sound. It's very very low in volume and the headphone jack does not work at all. i can't hear anything on headphones and it still playing in very low volume on the laptop speakers even thought i max everything. Not to mention microphone still don't work. What is wrong? Can anybody help?

Thanks

Install Bootcamp 3.0 on the windows end.

That should solve it, if you search the forum you'll find that more people
share the issue with you.
