now that tiger is being released I have a question about purchasing the PB. I have the money to buy the 15" all at once..but the idea of that kind of payment in one month scares me.

Looking at the apple credit accounts.if you pay it off within 90 days you don't have to pay any interest? or am I reading it wrong?

"the Finance Charge is waived on the initial Apple Store purchase for the first 90 days after the transaction date provided we receive timely payment and the initial Apple Store purchase balance is paid in full on or before the 90th day after the transaction date."

you've read correctly, if you pay it off within the first 90 days, no interest is charged.

I'm sure you could, but it would be bad for your credit score. Opening and closing accounts actually hurts your score.

My exprience with Apple credit has so far been dismal... They use Juniper bank some where out in the East coast...Delaware I think. My exprience with Apple retail stores have been just as bad as well. Hope your exprience will differs.

only problem I ever had was the website said you can order it right away when you sign up and get approved. We'll that isn't true..you have to wait till you get the card in the mail which they say takes 3 days...well that is really 3 days from when the ship it 5 days later. So it was alittle of a pain, but other than that, I've paid 2/3s of my powerbook off and I haven't had any interest added, so it seems like it's working.
