Arrange Files in Finder

When I go into View in Finder to arrange files in a folder sometimes I am given the option to Arrange By and sometimes I am given the option to Keep Arranged By

What is the difference between Arrange By and Keep Arranged By ?

Arrange By sorts the files one time only; any files or folders you add after that will not be sorted. Keep Arranged By makes sure that any new files or folders are also sorted according to your preference.
