Hey everyone,

I'm having problems with my monitor again and I want on-site support rather than taking it to the store (about an 80 mile round trip)

So, if I buy Apple Care is the monitor included with the Mac (both purchased at the same time)?

I'm assuming so at the price but just want to make sure.

Thank you in advance!!

If you buy a Mac Pro and a Cinema Display together, I believe you will be required to purchase Apple care separately for both. However, you really need to check with Apple to make certain that's true. Of course if you purchase an iMac, the monitor is an integral part of the machine and is included in any warranty. As far as on site support is concerned, as far as I know, Apple does not provide that kind of service.

Regards.

Thanks for the reply!

I just had a closer look at the Apple site...

Apple Care for Mac Pro (w/ or w/o display) is 195 pound and definitely fits the bill.

Request that a technician come to your work site

One Apple Cinema Display provided that the Mac Pro and the display are purchased together
