Hi,

I recently found an old Mac disk containing a database I used back in the early 90's. I switched on my old Color Classic hoping to be able to read it, but unfortunately it's not recognised by any program. The file wasn't created on this machine, but I have no way of knowing what software I need as I can't remember what was used to create the file.

At the moment I have ClarisWorks v2 on the machine. The icon of the file shows up as a box with files inside and has DB written on it, but that isn't much use as I already know it's a database, I just don't know what I originally created it in!

Any ideas on how to identify the file? Hex editing it doesn't seem to give me any clues.

Cheers,
Alan.

EDIT: Nevermind, I had MacLinkPlus on my Performa 6200CD and it sorted it out for me!
